AirCare AirCare is a provincial testing program that ensures your vehicle is environmentally friendly enough to be on the road and not hazardous to other drivers. During AirCare testing, emissions levels of your vehicle are measured to make sure they are in accordance with the law before your vehicle is re-licensed. Who Can Repair Your Vehicle
To be assured of passing or conditionally passing your next AirCare inspection, AirCare encourages you to have your vehicle repaired at an AirCare Certified Repair Centre.
Repairs performed by an AirCare Certified Technician at an AirCare Certified Repair Centre are referred to as "Certified Repairs".
Repairs performed at an AirCare Certified Repair Centre, will guarantee you at the very least a conditional pass when re-inspected. You don't have to worry about going back and forth between the repair centre and the inspection centre making multiple attempts to repair your vehicle.
NOTE - A conditional pass is only available if the diagnosis/repairs are performed at an AirCare Certified Repair Centre.
Anyone, including the vehicle owner, may attempt repairs. However, if repairs were not done by an AirCare Certified Repair Centre, the vehicle will not be eligible for a conditional pass if it fails re-inspection.
Common Repairs Include
Manifold Air Pressure Sensor
Service Engine Light (On Board Computer Diagnostic Code)
